Shipping Options: Walton normally ships smaller orders by UPS but also ships freight on 1+ tons. For orders of over 2000 pounds, please call Gay at 800-847-0465 for a shipping quote. Several of you can combine orders to take advantage of the greatly reduced freight rates over UPS.

UPS has given Walton's 2 shipment methods:

       UPS rates have changed and there are some new rules on shipping.  We will get them posted as soon as we get them organized for our shipping department.

  • Parcel: 1 to 70 lbs.
  • Hundredweight: for orders over 200 lbs: This gives a 47-55% savings compared to parcel above 200 lbs; and a 55-60% savings over parcel above 500 lbs).

For orders between 1 and 199 lbs, Walton's ships your order in one to several parcel packages. The funds spent to ship a 100 lb order will often pay for a 200 lb shipment at the lower UPS hundredweight.

Notice: UPS is now charging $5.00 for their non-standard package fee. To escape this fee Walton Feed is charging $2.00 to put your buckets in heavy duty cardboard boxes. The $5.00 fee still applies for 15 & 55 gallon water drums.

Handling Fee per Order: $3.00.

  • Faxes: Our Fax number is 208-847-0467. All Faxes are received directly at the head office. Most people sending in an order by Fax ask for a confirmation that their Fax was received. However, this is not our policy. If you wish to confirm that your Fax was received, please call 800-847-0465/208-847-0465.

    • Ordering on-line with our shopping cart: Our secure on-line shopping cart permits you to order numerous items at one time, submitting them with a single click of your mouse. No more do you have to hassle with busy phones trying to contact us or wait until we are open. That's what is great about our cart. There's also a thing or two that isn't so great. With all the shipping variables and rule changes, the cart can't accurately figure your shipping costs. Before we charge your card or start packing your order we will get an OK from you concerning the total cost before proceeding.
