Subject: Easy Meat without Hunting (Raising Rabbits)
Did you know that you could easily raise & breed rabbits for a regular source of meat for your family? It's true. You could easily have 20-30 lbs of fresh meat every 10-12 weeks from raising rabbits in your garage or side yard. They don't bark, they take up very little space, they make babies more than most any other animal, they're manure is great for gardens, & they won't smell up the neighborhood if you follow the wise advice of current rabbit breeders. You could breed so many rabbits...that you could easily give some starter rabbits to neighbors, so they can start producing their own meat. An excellent book on this is "Bob Bennett's book: Raising Rabbits the Modern Way". You can find it or order it through any book store. I found my copy in a Barnes & Noble Book Store. It's really facinating. There is even a National Organization called "ARBA - American Rabbit Breeding Association" which you can join & find breeders in your Area of the country, so you can get helpful hints & tips. They will help you find top breeders who sell breeding rabbits which will produce the best-of-breed rabbit for years of success. ARBA's phone is (309) 664-7500. You can join for $10.

Greetings In Jesus name!
If you have to hunt an animal for your source of fresh meat, I would recommend using a bow and arrow as this way of hunting does not cause very much damage to the target, in the way of a messy kill. The only draw back is that you have to be very good with your first shot, cause the animal will take off very quickly. though practice should take care of this, check for a local archery club.
The clear advantage of bow hunting is the almost silent nature of this type of hunting, where as taboos make loud noises. Should you need to hunt with a taboo, I suggest that you use a 22 sniper type ie)israeli 22 gali an excellent choice provided you hit the animal in the right spot as that small a caliber does a lot of bouncing around when it goes in and causes internal damage.
Go to your library and look up books on how to skin and gut animals, and make sure that you bleed anything you bag as the blood will make your food deadly to eat if it is not properly drained out of any animal you have killed for food. Do not be grossed out by the prospect of having to hunt and kill animals other than rabbits, it might just be a neccessity in days to come. I have help skin a moose and have done my fair share of other stuff and I would say that it seems gross at the time but the beneifits are easily seen in the finished product.
I would also reccommend looking up either a butcher or a hunter to get tips from them on how to dress any foodstuffs.
Hope this helps somewhat.
MOST OF ALL, DEPEND ON GOD TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR NEEDS IN THE DAYS TO COME!
Yours In Christ
